This two-day seminar is for people who want to take back control of their lives and stop living life by default!

Some lucky people seem to know exactly who they are and what they want to do. Most of the rest of us are only vaguely aware of our natural strengths, talents and abilities, and know even less about how to design a life that allows us to share these with the world. We are also woefully unaware of our own needs and desires.  Our lives proceed by default - we fall into life choices (e.g., careers, relationships) and one thing leads to another. We're consumed by the daily demands of just getting by; we focus outward instead of inward. But life is what is happening every minute and every day.  You can continue to let it "just happen" by default or you can take action to create a life of your own design. 

This workshop teaches you the tools and techniques to discover who you are and how to create your own vision, priorities, and goals in a way that honors your unique gifts, needs, and desires. If you don't take the time to define your own vision and key priorities, you will end up being driven by the needs and priorities of others and doing what you think you "should" do (i.e., what others expect of you) rather than what you want to do. 

What You Will Learn

Self-discovery is a life-long journey and cannot be completed in eight hours. However, in eight hours you can, and will, begin the journey in a very meaningful way. You'll learn and apply a process and a set of tools for creating a life of your own design, and increase your level of awareness of possibility and of choice so that you can make more informed decisions about what you want to do as you go forward.  You will walk away with the tools and knowledge you need to use this process over and over again as your needs and priorities evolve.

More specifically you will learn how to:

  1. Pinpoint core elements that define "You": your likes and dislikes, strengths and weaknesses, talents and abilities, temperament and needs

  2. Discover the activities and behaviors that you are innately drawn to

  3. Create your personal vision and key priorities that are grounded in who you are and what you like to do

  4. Set goals in line with your vision and key priorities that are inspirational not perspirational

  5. Align how you spend your time with your vision and key priorities

  6. Start on the path to achieving your most important goals

  7. Lose the fear of experimenting with your life
