Meet Jane

Helping individuals and organizations change and grow into their potential is what drew me first to psychology, then to management, and finally into coaching, consulting, teaching, writing and speaking.  I have spent my career working with people to get results. I work with my clients to define what they want for themselves, or for their careers or organizations, and then to find ways to accomplish their goals. I help my clients gain the awareness, tools and support they need to create and live their own personal definition of success and fulfillment. What I love most about coaching is being able to walk with my clients as they make the changes that give them the ability to achieve success and live the life of their dreams.

How I Coach

My personal coaching/communication style is supportive, genuine and direct. I reflect back to you what I see, hear and sense to give you a perspective of where you are and where you are headed.  I help you uncover your limiting beliefs and assumptions, and point out "blind spots" you can't clearly see. I challenge you to expand your awareness of the possibilities and choices that surround you. I support you in creating a clear vision of what you want in your life, career, or organization and in creating goals, strategies and action plans to move forward. I help you get into action so that you can turn your plans and vision into reality.

I know that it is possible for you to be, do and have whatever you want, but I also know the journey is not always easy. As your partner I hold your vision for you and cheer you on when you doubt yourself. I provide you feedback, tools and techniques, guidance, structure and support to help you realize your unique talents and gifts and then maximize them to achieve the success you want.

E Team software being used in the New York City Emergency Management Center
As Vice President of Products at E Team, Inc. Jane was responsible for the design, development and customer support of the E Team commercial emergency management software product.  This product allows emergency and event personnel to prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural disasters (such as earthquakes), man-made disasters (such as terrorist attacks), or planned events such as conventions and large sporting events.
The E Team product is currently being used by the U.S. Department of Transportation, several key cities throughout the United States (to include New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco), key counties in California and Florida, several states, and key corporations including Toyota Corp. It was used to manage the 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah and the Summer Olympics in 2004.  E Team software is also currently being used by New York to manage the ongoing recovery from the September 11 terrorist attacks and has been selected as the incident management solution by the Center For Disease Control (CDC).

In the late 80's and early 90's she served as Perceptronics' Program Manager for the Simulation Networking (SIMNET) program. SIMNET implemented a revolutionary new approach to low-cost networked virtual reality simulation and fundamentally changed the way the military trains combat vehicle (e.g., vehicle and aircraft) crews.

She provides Executive Coaching for Corporate and Nonprofit senior managers and executives with a focus on:

  • Strategy development and implementation
  • Management and leadership skill development
  • Organizational development and team building
